Thanks To All of Our Partners!

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
God's Blessings to All,

Sunday April 12, 2009 marked the birth date of one of Northern Indiana's Newest Ministries - We the Pastoral Staff and Members of Capernaum Community Church want to take this moment to let you know that your prayers, support and encouragement yielded great fruit.

To all who worked behind the scenes, called, emailed, prayed and to those who worshiped with us may God richly bless you, your families, your businesses, your communities and all that the Lord sets you to achieve. The successful start of this ministry is proof that God is still in the blessing business!

Much Love in Service to Christ Our King,
Pastor Eugene C. Staples, Sr. and the Capernaum Community Church Family

Do You Have A Church Home?

God's Family...

God's family is still alive and well and to be found in local bodies of believers. A Christian without a church is missing an essential part of his or her life in Christ. What good is it to be part of a family you're never with? When you find a real church in any community, you have found God's people, including spiritual parents who will try to feed you the balanced diet you need to grow.

A Few Hints...

Let me give you a few hints: Since churches are people, no church is perfect. You will miss a lot of spiritual help if you wait to find the perfect church. Remember, God is still building all those other Christians just like he's building you. It's because we all are growing and struggling that we need each other so much.

Don't Miss Your Opportunity...

Take advantage of what a church is and help to make it what it isn't. Get the fellowship and spiritual food, and provide fellowship for some of the others there who need you.

Get regular input from a real church throughout your life. Right now you may be attending a specific church because of your parents. Eventually you will have to choose a church for yourself, either here or in another city. When choosing a church, make sure that you look for one where the Bible and Christ are at the center.

It's Give and Take...

You get out of church what you put into it — it's not meant for entertainment. You have to listen, become involved in the worship experience, take notes, and really put yourself into it to get the most out of it.

You are Needed...

You need your spiritual family . . . and they need you. You are incomplete without each other. If you haven't already started, begin right now to build a life habit of being with your forever family.
